Nicole Jensen
I’ve always had a passion for decluttering and organizing - from helping friends with clothing to downsizing the family home. I’ve moved over 15 times in my adult life, and each time has been an opportunity to improve my process.
Having a decluttered and organized home has meant not wasting my precious time, energy and money looking for things I know I own, constantly having to manage the items in my space or going out and buying things I either have no space for, or don’t really need. I’m free to do the things I want and love to do.
My clutter-free lifestyle is about spending time with family and friends, volunteering in the community, being active with running, biking, cross-country skiing, soccer and tennis, travelling to experience new places, and spending as much time in nature as I can, whether backpacking or gardening. I also love time to myself - meditation, cat cuddling, reading, napping, and listening to podcasts and watching funny or inspiring shows. Health, wellbeing and community are what matter most to me.
After almost two decades working for The City of Calgary I felt I was ready for a change. I wanted more time and energy for what mattered most, and I wanted to explore my interests and passions. I’m a skilled facilitator and communicator, having managed teams and supported leaders at different levels of the organization. I’ve been told I’m a good listener - I’m present and tuned in - and that I naturally look to support those around me.
